Stamford Brook

Either start at Stamford Brook station.at 10.30 or 14.30
Both walks will last around 90 minutes and will finish near Hammersmith station
We will follow the course of one of three tributaries of Stamford Brook, on route seeing grand historic houses, a little known square, a hospital, the site of a medieval manor, home to a king’s mistress. We will see the remains above ground of the brook which is one of London’s hidden rivers, now almost entirely underground and part of the sewage system. We look forward to seeing you
