Some of our activities in 2008 have included a new walk touring the Brentford Dock area, which started our 2008 season off on May Bank Holiday. Another new walk across Hounslow Heath took off in October. Open House weekend in September was busy with the Saturday walk through Syon's Lion Gates and Beyond. On the Sunday there was a tour of the Royal Manor of Hanworth September was Chiswick Open Month and a special free guided walk took place on the 28th and The Chiswick Village route explored the area's deep history.
Regular walks take place on selected Sundays June to October. Please see our 2009 schedule when we have prepared it, or contact us for more details.
The Thames Discovery Programme will be working on archaeological sites exposed on the foreshaw at Isleworth over the next 3 years and volunteers are needed to monitor the sites. Free training provided; details on thamesdiscovery.org
